MoMoBKK had a holiday in Europe before our upcoming Mobile Monday Bangkok event – Register for free on Facebook.

MoMoBKK visited Helsinki, Finland during the September. Helsinki is the home city of Rovio (developer of Angry Birds) and it has several new exciting startups born from Nokia engineers who became entrepreneurs. Finland is investing a lot on the technology infrastructure and incentives to get the new entrepreneur society up and running. Most of these ventures are made for the web and mobile platforms.

We met few Finnish startup initiatives during our stay. Protomo is a startup innovation labs in Jyväskylä, and few other locations in Finland.

In the Finnish capital area we visited famous Aalto Venture Garage and Aalto University Design Factory.

Finland is definitely doing well so far in the startup race, you can see some pictures from our Helsinki visit of Aalto Venture Garage and Aalto University Design Factory below.
